If you are trying to get silver in New World, you can start gathering it at level 10 in mining, and if you level it further to level 35, you can start tracking it on your map. That said, you can find silver after this point in the area called Windsward in the game.

Windsward is a highland terrain area, and if you check your resource map, it will tell you that highlands are an excellent source for silver ore. However, this is by no means the only or best place you should look, as Silver ore is also found a lot in caves, mines, and various monster dens such as the one in dankfur hollow.

This location will be south of Windsward, and can be used to farm silver ore to a great extent. After the wolf den, the next best place to farm silver ore would be the canary mine, which is near the fort of everfall.

But this is a common area to farm silver, so don’t expect there to be much in the way of silver when you arrive. If there’s not, it’s most likely another player beat you to it. In that case, your best bet would be to come back later and try again.
