Monster Hunter is all about getting materials, hunting monsters, foraging herbs and plants, and even slaying the small monsters that get in your way. One type of material in Sunbreak is the Prized Pelt. Here’s how you can acquire Prized Pelt in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.
Where to find a Prized Pelt in Sunbreak
To find a Prized Pelt, you need to locate either an Anteka or a Kelbi in Master Rank. You will not find Prized Pelt on Low or High Rank. Kelbi is the best one to hunt, as they are more common and have the best drop rate. There is a 30% chance of getting a Prized Pelt from a Kelbi and an 18% from an Anteka. You will not find a Prized Pelt any other way. Very much like Pearl Glosshide from a Khezu, you can only get it by carving.
If you choose an Expedition Tour, you can end the quest quickly upon obtaining a Prized Pelt, as it saves a lot of time. Or, you can do a key quest at one of these locations and make a quick detour to slay some innocent creatures. When finding a Kelbi, make sure not to ride to their location on a monster or bring a monster or their location. If you do, the Kelbi will run away and will not respawn for quite some time.
