Null Taste is an ingredient from The Dawning 2022 in Destiny 2 that Guardians will need to bake Chocolate Ship Cookies and Dark Chocolate Motes. Chocolate Ship Cookies is a treat for Amanda Holliday, an NPC who works in the Tower’s hangar and occasionally provides players with Bounties. Dark Chocolate Motes must be delivered to The Drifter, the NPC Vendor for Gambit. Giving these two recipes to these NPCs will reward Guardians with Gifts and event progression required to earn limited-time rewards and weapons exclusive to The Dawning event. Accordingly, knowing how to get and farm Null Taste is essential for event participants.

Farming Null Taste in The Dawning 2022 of Destiny 2

The Null Taste ingredient in The Dawning 2022 of Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph is obtained by slaying enemies using Void Damage. Guardians can use Energy or Power Weapons to deal Void damage to enemy targets. Alternatively, players can use Void abilities if they equip one of the three subclasses: Sentinel, Nightstalker, or Voidwalker.

How to Get Balanced Flavors in Destiny 2 (The Dawning 2022)

It does not matter what kind of enemy is slain; as long as players achieve kills with Void-type damage, they have a chance of receiving the Null Taste ingredient in Destiny 2. Attack of the Fanboy recommends that players enter areas with high enemy density, enabling them to quickly defeat hordes of foes without actively hunting down opponent after opponent. Weaponry or abilities that deal AoE Void Damage will especially be effective, as players might be able to take down multiple enemies at once.

According to Dot Esports, some of the best farming locations for the Null Taste ingredient in Destiny 2 would be the Shuro Chi checkpoint, Shattered Throne’s Thrallway, or the beginning of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon. Alternatively, if players are not in a hurry to get this ingredient for The Dawning, they can opt to grind this season’s featured Dungeon Spire of the Watcher. As players climb the spire, they will encounter plenty of enemy mobs that can be slain with Void Damage. This way, Dungeon participants can earn loot exclusive to the instance and Null Taste from slaying foes with Void.

Destiny 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC.
