If you have dried up on your initial supply of Tree Branches in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and can’t find any anywhere, don’t panic! There are other places you can find some but just be a warning— there isn’t an infinite supply (per day).

Tree Branches are usually found on the ground, and players require a lot of them for basic crafting of tools and structures, such as the Fishing Rod and Net. After a few uses, though, these items will break, leaving you to get more sticks to build a brand new one.

If you can’t find any more on the ground, don’t panic! There are still places to get some should you need them.

First and foremost, you should shake trees as trees will sometimes drop a host of items, including sticks. You can shake each tree on the island, and they have a chance of dropping something, but once you shake them all, the items inside them won’t reset until the next day of play.

You can find additional Tree Branches by going on Mystery Tours, which you can do by paying 2,000 Nook Miles for a Nook Ticket at the ATM in Resident Services. There will be an assortment of items at these locations through the Airport isn’t available until your second day.

Failing that, you might be a bit out of luck and will just need to wait (or time travel) to get more Tree Branches to craft what you need.
