Although the exotic bow Hierarchy of Needs is a monster on its own, its Catalyst provides even more utility. Catalysts are bonus perks for exotic weapons you must earn by completing challenges. Most exotic weapons have Catalysts, and weapons like Revision Zero have multiple. If you received a lucky drop from the Spire of the Watcher dungeon and now have a Hierarchy of Needs in hand, we’re here to help you boost its power. Here’s how to get the Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst in Destiny 2.

How do you get the Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst in Destiny 2?

To obtain the Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst, you must complete the Spire of the Watcher dungeon on Master difficulty. To receive the Catalyst, you must also own Hierarchy of Needs. Finishing this dungeon on Master difficulty is intimidating since it asks Guardians to have at least 1610 Power, equip an Anti-Overload mod, and match the elemental shields of enemies with the corresponding elemental damage type. No matchmaking feature exists for this dungeon, so if you do not possess a team, you must attempt it solo or find a group on the Destiny LFG Discord server.

Once you have the Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst, you must secure 500 kills with the weapon to activate its perk. This can be quickly achieved at the Altars of Sorrow public event on the Moon or the Shuro Chi checkpoint in the Last Wish raid at The Dreaming City. The best way to farm this Catalyst is by defeating packs of Thrall, so any location with Hive opponents is ideal.
