Quality of Life improvements comprise one of the main focuses when it comes to Genshin Impact updates. One of these is a new item called Dream Solvent, which allows you to convert weekly boss or Trounce Domain rewards if the wrong material drops from a particular boss. Have you ever gone through the pain of completing a lengthy weekly boss fight only to realize that the wrong material dropped for you? Your suffering is over!
How to obtain Dream Solvent
Dream Solvent is an item that was added in Genshin Impact update 1.5 and it allows the player to covert boss materials into another material - but only to a different piece from the same boss. For example, if you need Dvalin’s Plume but keep getting Dvalin’s Claw, you can use Dream Solvent to convert that Claw into a Plume.
In order to get Dream Solvent, you must acquire it from killing the weekly bosses/Trounce Domains. These include Stormterror, Childe, Andrius, Azhdaha, La Signora, and Raiden Shogun trounce domains. There is no other way to acquire this material currently.
The drop rate is currently unknown, so how many you earn from besting the weekly bosses, we cannot tell you. But the second this information is known, we’ll update this article.
Due to this being a conversion material, players hoped it would follow the same suit as the Dust of Azoth, which can be purchased using Stardust from the Genshin Impact shop. But alas, you have to defeat weekly bosses to obtain Dream Solvent.
