Crystal Cores are among the elusive but important materials that you can find in Genshin Impact‘s Teyvat’s wilderness. How to Get Crystal Cores in Genshin Impact

Crystal Cores do not spawn on the ground; instead, they can only be obtained by catching Crystalflies. These rare insects will only respawn every two days in real time. However, if it’s raining, the Crystalflies will not spawn. They will also run away when you get close to them, so use Sayu since she has the passive skill to not startle wildlife.

Different regions will contain different types of Crystalflies, but catching any of them will always reward you with one Crystal Core. In total, there are six types of Crystalflies:

  • Anemo Crystalflies
  • Cryo Crystalflies
  • Geo Crystalflies
  • Electro Crystalflies
  • Dendro Crystalflies
  • Coral Butterflies

Crystal Cores Uses in Genshin Impact

Monstadt

  • Anemo Crystalflies
  • Cryo Crystalflies

In Monstadt, there are three places that are considered to be the best locations to farm Crystalflies for Crystal Cores.

First, the Dawn Winery. There are 24 Anemo Crystaflies in the area. You can teleport to the Statue of the Seven, then go south, and then to the east. They are usually clustered together, so it’s easy to catch them quickly. The same goes for Windrise, although the numbers are smaller. Use the Statue of the Seven and then go to the nearby tree where there are five Crystaflies huddled together.

Then the last place is the Dragonspine mountain area. Although they are more scattered than the previous two, Cryo Crystalflies will always spawn since it never rains in Dragonspine. Liyue – Genshin Impact Crystal Core Farm

  • Geo Crystalflies

For the Liyue region, going straight to the Domain of Guyun in the Guyun Stone Forest should let you immediately find six Geo Crystalflies nearby. From Bishue Plains, you can also go south for four Crystalflies, then head to Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain for more.

Sumeru

  • Dendro Crystalflies

In Sumeru, from Mawytiyima Forest’s Teleport Waypoint, keep going south until you reach Gandharva Ville’s Teleport Waypoint for eight Geo Crystalflies. Lastly, Seirai Island is considered the most efficient option if you had to farm just one island in Inazuma for Crystal Cores.
