Want to know how to get Chaos Flame in God of War Ragnarok? While God of War Ragnarok has many changes from its predecessor, some things remain the same. The legendary Blades of Chaos and Leviathan Ax have remained the same, and you have to improve these like before. At different stages of your passage, you must overcome dangerous trials, and as a reward, you will receive the rarest materials. While you must look for Frozen Flame to upgrade the Leviathan Ax, Blades of Chaos requires you to use the Chaos Flame. As you progress through the game, you can find six Chaos Flames, and our guide will tell you where to get each of these.
How to Get Chaos Flame in God of War Ragnarok
As we said earlier, Chaos Flame is a limited resource, but even one will make your weapons much more powerful and versatile. With each upgrade, Blades of Chaos will get new quirks and features that will make your gameplay even more varied. But first of all, you should get Chaos Flame in God of War Ragnarok in one of two ways:
- Combine six Chaos Sparks to get one Chaos Flame. You will receive one Chaos Spark after clearing each Draugr hole.
- The second way is to complete essential story quests. There are five such quests in total, and often they are accompanied by a hard battle.
To get Chaos Flame in God of War Ragnarok as quickly as possible, you should start by completing the story quests:
- The Quest for Tyr. Defeat Dreki in Svartlefheim.
- The Reckoning. Visit Vanaheim and defeat the Forest Ancient.
- The World of Fate. Travel to Midgard and defeat Frost Phantom. Here you will fight hand in hand with Freya.
- Creatures of Prophecy. While in Vanaheim, you must defeat two Dreki at once. Everything is pretty simple here if you keep the monsters at a distance from each other.
- The Summoning. Finally, visit Muspelheim and defeat the Soul Eater.
How to Change the Dodge Button in God of War Ragnarok
To get the last sixth Chaos Flame, go through the entire game plot. Draugr holes in different worlds, and until you visit all six Draugr holes, you will not be able to get the final Chaos Flame:
- Svartalfheim Realm. Go around the Watchtower to find the first Draugr hole.
- Svartalfheim Realm. Visit Applecore and wait while Atreus shoots the hanging rocks. Next, go through the large door and into the next room. Go through the waterfall and enter the door on the right to find the second Draugr hole.
- Alfheim Realm. Visit the western part of the Barrens and look for a rock that looks like a sanctuary. Here you will find the third Draugr hole.
- Vanaheim Realm. Visit Abandoned Village and complete the crane puzzle. Next, go northwest across the bridge and through the waterfall, after which you will find the fourth Draugr hole.
- Vanaheim Realm. Use the boat to move northeast from the plains to find the fifth Draugr hole.
- Midgard Realm. Head northeast of Lake of Nine. Here you will find the sixth Draugr hole.
Once you have visited all the above locations and collected six Chaos Sparks, you can create another Chaos Flame.
