Days are ticking down to Halloween now that we’ve officially entered Spooky Season, and Roblox players across the platform are feeling the hype! The dress-up RPG Royale High is notorious for its spooky celebrations and adorably wicked clothes and accessories. As of Oct. 1, 2021, they’ve already begun stirring the cauldron of secrets as to what they have planned for their Halloween celebration this year. While we wait for more answers and for the festivities to begin, take a look through this guide for a refresher on how to obtain candies so that you can be ready when they’re released!
Trick-or-treating
If 2021’s Halloween event can be compared to previous years, then Candies can be collected in two ways, with the first way being good ole’ fashioned trick-or-treating. There are numerous houses and neighborhoods scattered around Royale High just waiting for you to ring their doorbell. Once you do so, a handful of candy will be tossed out onto the front porch for you to collect!
This is a guaranteed way to collect candy every time. However, you may only average around five pieces per house. Continue reading below for a method that could give you more candy but with less of a guarantee.
Bobbing for apples
Located just inside of the Autumn Town gate are a few decorated stands and games to play, one of which is bobbing for apples. To play this game, simply walk up the trough full of water and apples, and your character will automatically pop their head down and start bobbing. This animation takes a while and can’t be skipped, but if your character is successful and you pull an apple, you will be rewarded with 10 pieces of candy every time.
There are ways to increase the animation speed inside of the game’s settings. However, it’s not a perfect solution. It’s also possible for your character to not catch an apple, meaning you receive zero Candies on those tries. It’s up to you to decide which option you think is most worth it!
The speculation for Royale High’s 2021 Halloween event is that some exclusive items will only be purchasable with Candies, so be sure to get bobbing or trick-or-treating once they become available, just in case!
