There are various resources in Slime Rancher 2 that players can use for various purposes like feeding slimes, earning newbucks, and unlocking upgrades. Buzz Wax is one such precious resource required to build certain upgrades at the fabricator. Here’s our guide on how to access this item in the game.
Where to find Buzz Wax in Slime Rancher 2
While we couldn’t find any Buzz Wax in Rainbow Fields by the ranch, we came across limited sources of this product in the Ember Valley island. Upon reaching the western edge of the region, you’ll find an area with multiple lava pools by the volcano and cave entrance. There will be several palm trees in this area, some with a hanging beehive.
In the image above, we have marked two of the trees that bore Buzz Wax every time we went to get the resource. These are the first palm trees you’ll see in the region. The trees may not be the same for you, but you’ll definitely find what you came for if you search the area thoroughly. Also, make sure to pick up any Buzz Wax from the ground beneath the trees. Once you’ve harvested the available honey, come back after several hours to collect more.
What is Buzz Wax used for?
As mentioned previously, Buzz Wax is a key element for some upgrade builds. For instance, the Tank Guard, an equipment that saves 20 percent of your inventory on your death, requires the following items to be crafted at the fabricator:
