Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a unique entry in the Pokémon mainline franchise, offering a new way for players to explore the world, capture Pokémon, and fill out the Pokédex. One of the post-game activities that fans of the Pokémon franchise have grown accustomed to is hunting down Legendary Pokémon, and there are plenty of Legendary Pokémon for researchers to track down in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, including the star of this iteration, Arceus.

Players must complete the Hisuian PokéDex by filing all non-mythical Pokémon entries. Once players have finished the Pokédex, head to the Temple of Sinnoh to find Arceus waiting for you. After you’ve discovered Arceus, you’ll have to beat the Legendary Pokémon in a boss battle reminiscent of those with the Noble Pokémon.

If successful, researchers will add Arceus to their catalog of Pokémon, capture the Legendary, and add it to their collection. Arceus is one of over a dozen Legendary and Mythical Pokémon players will encounter in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, each with its unique criteria for capture.
