Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy are the new high-end currency added in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s 6.05 patch. With this new Tomestone, you’re able to purchase Radiant Gear, some of the highest level non-crafted gear in Endwalker so far.
To get Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy, you’ll need first to make sure you have at least one Disciple of War or Magic at level 90. Then whenever you complete your daily roulettes, including Expert Roulette, Level 50/60/70/80 Dungeons, Leveling, Trials, Main Scenario, Alliance Raids, Normal Raids, or Frontline, you’ll receive a number of Tomestones of Astronomy, so long as you complete the duty with a level 90 character.
You’ll also receive a small number from specific Treasure Maps and Elite Hunt Marks, as well as any level 90 content, such as Raids, and Dungeons. The amount you can get for each duty starts at 5 but can go up to 40.
As of right now, you’re capped at earning just 450 Tomestones of Astronomy per week. The Tomestones also have a hard cap of 2000.
What Are Tomestones of Astronomy Used For?
Tomestones of Astronomy can be traded to Cihanti in Radz-at-Han. They’re located at X: 10.8, Y: 10.4. Cihianti will sell you a Head, Arm, or Foot piece of gear for 495 Tomestones of Astronomy and a Chest or Legs piece for 825.
You can also acquire a weapon for 500 Tomestones of Astronomy and a single Discal Tomestone. Ultimately, if you’re looking to gear your character for raids and high-end content, this is the gear you’ll want to grab.
