Bungie has released Destiny 2‘s Solstice of Heroes event which aims to bring Guardians back together for a final push at checking off Moments of Triumphs before the launch of the Forsaken DLC. One of those Moments of Triumphs requires the complete upgrade of the Solstice of Heroes armor. This set of gear is modeled on the very first set of armor your Guardian wore. It can be upgraded several times to change its appearance and buff its power level, all the way up to power level 400, making it the most powerful set of armor currently available in Destiny 2. This guide will show you what’s required to upgrade the Solstice of Heroes armor fully.

Solstice of Heroes Armor

When you log in to Destiny 2, visit the vendor at the new Solstice of Heroes statue. You’ll receive a set of Scorched armor at a power level of 240. This set can be upgraded to its Rekindled version, then to the Resplendent version, and finally to the Masterwork Resplendent variant. Each upgrade requires Guardians to complete a specific set of objectives. They differ by Guardian class, and we’ve outlined them in the tables below.

Rekindled Solstice of Heroes Armor Objectives

Once you have completed the objectives for all armor pieces, you can upgrade the whole uncommon (green) Scorched Solstice of Heroes armor set from 240 power level to the 340 power level rare (blue) Rekindled version by completing the following objectives.

How to Craft Masterwork Solstice of Heroes Armor

Finally, if you want to reach the maximum level of upgrades on your Solstice of Heroes armor, you can turn each piece into a Masterwork Resplendent version. Doing so will require you to complete fairly difficult tasks, but turning even a single Solstice of Heroes armor piece into its masterwork variant will satisfy another Moment of Triumph. This time, the requirements are the same for each Guardian class and are as follows:

  • Complete the Prestige Nightfall within the point threshold

  • Complete five Heroic strikes in a group with one or more clanmate

  • Complete the Prestige Leviathan raid

  • Reach the Valor rank of Legend in the Crucible

  • Defeat 10 bosses

There you have it, Guardian. Fully upgrade your Solstice of Heroes armor set to unlock the most powerful armor pieces currently available in Destiny 2. If you require further assistance in achieving your goals or Moments of Triumphs in Destiny 2, be sure to visit our Guide Hub.
