Being a new online multiplayer game, New World will face some or the other errors during its initial release cycle. One such error causing concern among players is the untrusted system file error. The error has emerged after a recent update for the steam and is associated with the anti-cheat system. However, you can resolve this issue by replacing a slightly older steam file in the steam client directory.
As mentioned above, you need to replace the steamclient64.dll file with an older version of the same file. Click here to download the required file. Now to replace the file, follow the given steps.
Open your Steam client and minimize it to your system tray.Head over to your steam directory, where you have installed your client. By default, the location is C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam.Now copy the old downloaded file and replace it with the updated file in the directory .
Then launch the game from the steam game menu or the game directory. You will not face any error, and it will connect to the game server.
Note: Remember that the fix will stop working once you restart your steam client or PC as it will initiate an update for the latest steam DLL file.
