The Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, and it’s free for everyone on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. All you have to do is look up Warzone in your respective store market and you can start downloading it to play. While the game is free for everyone, there are a handful of errors going around that some players are experiencing. A notable bug is players are experiencing hitching and additional errors when attempting to approach contracts, special objectives in the game.

The contracts are special objectives you can pick up in the battle royale Warzone match. When you approach them, you and your team have a limited time to complete them. These contracts include scavenger, recon, and bounty missions. You want to acquire them to increase your team’s amount of cash, granting you access to special abilities and items you can use during the match. Some players, when running up or getting close to a contract, will start hitching, or their game experiences an error.

At this time, the only fix players can likely do is run a scan of the game to try and sort out the problem, or reinstall it. Infinity Ward does not have a solution at this time, but they are working on it, and know of the issue. If reinstalling it or running a scan does not fix the issue, players may have to avoid any of the contracts they find in the game until further notice. Those who cannot use contracts to their advantage may want to rely on looting caches they find throughout the map to compensate for this. Luckily, though, the errors and hitches do not appear to affect the other game mode, Plunder.

Infinity Ward will come forward and address the issue in a future hotfix. You should expect to see it within the next few weeks.
