The Pre-Order Beta for Darktide Warhammer 40k has had its fair share of bugs, and there are no signs of it letting up, with new problems appearing almost daily. One such issue is a bug that prevents the mouse cursor from moving across the screen. Luckily like with most issues, all of the bugs in Darktide, including the cursor stuck on-screen bug, are fixable.

Possible Solutions for the Warhammer 40k Darktide Cursor stuck bug

To fix the cursor stuck-on screen bug in Darktide, you must try a few solutions and troubleshoot the problem. The first possible fix is to hold ALT and the windows key. While holding the windows and ALT keys, cycle through all your open apps back to Darktide. If this fix doesn’t work for you, move on to the next step, changing your Screen Display Setting. You can change your Screen Display setting by selecting the Video option and then selecting Screen Mode. Under the Screen Mode option, you want to cycle through all three options, Fullscreen, Borderless Fullscreen, and Window mode, and save your original setting.

However, there is a chance you may need to relaunch the game before you can use this fix. In short, there’s a chance if your cursor is stuck, you won’t be able to move it around to select options. If this is the case for you, we recommend restarting the game to make changes or plugging in a controller to navigate the menu options. There’s also a chance that none of these fixes will work, which might mean that the cursor bug is something the developers need to fix on their end.
