At Which Level are Diamonds Found in Minecraft 1.18.1?

If we refer to the official notes released by the developers, diamond ores only generate below Y=16 world height. Here, “Y” refers to the world height, and its value stands for in-game blocks. And it goes all the way down to level Y=-64, which is better known as the bedrock layer.
