The Golden Apple Archipelago is back for Genshin Impact’s Summertime Odyssey event, which runs from July 15, 2022, to Aug. 24, 2022. During this period, you can loot hundreds of limited-time Chests in the summer islands—but some are a little too well-hidden. Since the GAA has no exploration percentage indicator, it’s impossible to determine whether you’ve missed a coveted Chest somewhere along the way. So in this guide, we’ll show you how to find a hidden Common Chest that you can get through an easy Hidden Exploration Objective!
As a prerequisite to this puzzle, you first need to unlock the transformed Twinning Isle by completing all three parts of Fischl’s Event Quest Mirage, the Immernachtreich Apokalypse:

Old Mining Lamp puzzle location in Genshin Impact
Start from the Teleport Waypoint beside Immernachtreich Keep (not the Immernachtreich Keep Waypoint itself). You’ll find an elevator in front of you. Step on the elevator to go up to the top of the castle. Once you step out of the elevator, turn right and go through the cave, then climb up the stairs to the very top.
Ignore the castle entrance and keep going forward. Look ahead—then glide onto the green area surrounding the castle (pictured above). Turn right and look ahead once again—you’ll see a hole that leads underground (circled above). Head to that area and jump down to find a small mine.
How to solve the Old Mining Lamp puzzle in Genshin Impact
This part is easy! Inside the mine, you’ll find a glowing lamp. Interact with the Old Mining Lamp three times. Each time you do, the Night Raven will go back and turn the lamp on. After the third time, he’ll get annoyed and give you a Common Chest to get you to stop bothering him.
