Here, adventurers will encounter Merlin, who will provide the quest “The Dream Castle.” After completing this quest’s various activities, players must spend Dreamlight ×2,000 to cleanse the castle.

After gaining access to the Dream Castle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will be able to fast travel between realms; however, they will need to cleanse the aforementioned Wishing Wells if they wish to teleport between landmarks. Fast travel is a convenient feature for moving between realms, but players will be spending most of their time running about on foot. Unfortunately, there is no stamina bar or sprint mechanic that allows adventurers to move faster when on foot. On the other hand, GamesRadar+ states that keeping one’s energy full through eating will grant the Well Fed buff, a status effect that increases one’s movement speed by 15%.

  • Travel to a realm and complete Merlin’s quest, “Friendship Is Everything“

  • Once this quest is active, players must attain a Friendship of Level 5 with three Villagers within the realm. It does not matter which NPCs are befriended.

  • Return to Merlin, and he will send the player to fetch the Orb of Friendship, a device used to cleanse the Wishing Well of its corruption.

  • Once the well has been cleansed, Merlin will appear in front of the fast travel point. Speak with him again to completely restore the well.

  • Merlin will repair the first Wishing Well for free. However, once players gain access to more realms, they will need to pay Coins to Scrooge McDuck to have their fast-travel landmarks fixed.
