Crabrawler is a Fighting-type crab pocket monster in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that evolves into Crabominable once it has been given a specific Evolution Item. Trainers can find Crabrawler in multiple locations throughout Paldea, including two spots along the western coast of the region, a few areas on the eastern coast, and the entirety of Glaseado Mountain. The Glaseado Mountain is also the same province where players can encounter a rare Wild Crabominable, the Ice- and Fighting-type evolution of Crabrawler. As one might infer from its dual elements, Crabominable transforms from Crabrawler once given an object related to several Ice-type Pokémon.

Evolving Crabrawler into Crabominable in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Crabrawler into Crabominable in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must give Crabrawler a special Evolution Item known as the Ice Stone. Unlike the original four evolutionary stones from Generation I, the Ice Stone cannot be purchased from Delibirds Presents, making it quite scarce to find out in the open world.

Where to find Garchomp in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

There are two primary ways to get Ice Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first is by discovering one out in the overworld in areas within and around Glaseado Mountain. According to Game8, one guaranteed spot to find this stone would be the platforming section north of the Poké Center in Dalizapa Passage. At this ridge on the eastern side of West Province (Area Three), Trainers will find a series of ascending rocky shelves that they can climb with their Legendary Mount. Atop one of the first few rocky platforms is where fans will find an Ice Stone.

PowerPyx claims that another means of obtaining an Ice Stone to evolve Crabrawler into Crabominable in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the Auction House in Porto Marinada. After defeating the Open Sky Titan: Bombirdier and unlocking Aquatic Mode for one’s Mount, players are able to travel to Porto Marinada. At the Auction House, Trainers can bid on various items that will change on a daily basis. Occasionally, a seller has an Ice Stone as their offering, and players can challenger other NPC bidders to get this Evolution Item. After obtaining the Ice Stone, it can be given to Crabrawler to evolve it into Crabominable in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
